Legal Fee Options

Communication is the key to smoothly handling business law issues. I want you to ask all your questions and, conversely, listen to my advice. The biggest hurdle to establishing good communication, however, is your fear of running up legal fees. I understand this and, unlike other firms, have a solution.

I provide three fee options that can be tailored to your specific needs: 

• Flat Fee Solution. If you need a business entity, contract, trademark, or specific item, I will quote you an exact fee for the service.
• Monthly Retainer. If you need a significant amount of ongoing advice, I offer a monthly retainer option that sets my fees at a particular figure for each month. This allows you to accurately predict your legal fees for each month and plan accordingly.
• Hourly Fee. If you need ongoing advice, but do not want to commit to a monthly retainer, this solution is your best choice. Work is done on an hourly basis, but I ask you to designate a month budget. If the fees approach the designated budget amount, I contact you and discuss delaying certain legal tasks and other options. 

Each of these options provides you with cost certainty regarding legal fees. Regardless of the option you choose, I never charge you for mileage, faxes, stamps or any other incidental items. I make a good living and see no reason to charge you for such annoying things, although other firms certainly will.
