LLC Registered Agent

The registered agent has been a staple part of the corporation for hundreds of years. Ah, but what about an LLC registered agent? Do things work the same? Are their differences?

An LLC registered agent functions exactly as a corporate registered agent in California. The only exception would be, obviously, the name. The LLC simply chooses the agent, pays the fee and the appropriate documents are filed with the Secretary of State. It is that simple.
